When animatics surged in popularity on YouTube – especially among musical fans eager to explore songs through storyboarding and animation – Szin set out to bring those stories to life, and she did just that. Hamilton, Heathers, Dear Evan Hansen, and later Epic: The Musical, are all works that helped her grow in popularity.

Now, she’s ready to take a trip down memory lane and talk about the 2010s YouTube animatic era. From early production stages to how they ended up blowing up in the musical community, Szin will be sharing her firsthand experience at her panel.
