Is there an age limit?
There’s no age limit, however children under the age of 14 need to bring a guardian.
How much does a Magicon tickets cost?
A weekendpass for Magicon Elevation 2023 costs 640 NOK
Single day tickets are 375 NOK each
Will there be other tickets available than just the weekend pass this year?
Yes, we are pleased to say that 1-Day Tickets are available for Magicon Elevation
Can you buy tickets at the door?
This has yet to be confirmed, please check back for updates.
Will the convention be accessible for wheelchair users?
The venue is kitted out with lifts to the main rooms and there are also disabled friendly toilets in both the foyer and Bokcafeen. More information can be found on the Cheateu Neuf website
How easy is it to get food and beverages at the venue?
We have an cafè in-house, and a lot of other restaurant/cafè options in close proximity to Chateau Neuf.
Cosplay, Competitions & Events
Is idol MagicOn Stage! the same as Cosplay Performance?
The main difference between the two is that Cosplay Performance is an competition and the Idol MagicOn Stage! is not. The Idol MagicOn Stage! event are to mimic shows in the j-pop/anime Idol style, and is a little more specific than just any performance.
Are there any rules for the length of a performance?
Yes, you can find the information regarding the length of the performance in the rule section of the cosplay competition pages.
Are there any rules for "scary" cosplays at magicon?
We would advice to keep it pg13, but if you are unsure you could always send a picture of what you want to make to security@magicon.no
I want to compete in the Duo / Master / Classic / Performance competition, do I need to send in information regarding my performance now even though it’s not ready yet?
You do not need to send in certain information regarding your performance if it’s not ready yet. In the forms there are obligatory and non-obligatory fields to fill out. For the non-obligatory ones regarding performance we’ll send the applicants a new form to be filled out before the deadline 20. May 2023, In that way everybody will have the chance to properly plan their performances.
Can I join more than one Cosplay Competition at Magicon Elevation?
Yes you may, however keep in mind that some competitions may happen at the same time in different areas at the convention on the same day. Check out each competitions’ individual page to read more about which day they’ll be hosted on. Schedule will be available at a later time.
Can you sign up for both the Catwalk and the Performance show? Or just one?
You may, as we’ll be having a Cosplay Catwalk on both Saturday and Sunday. Keep in mind that the times for the Performance competition and the Cosplay Catwalk on Saturday are not set yet, and we recommend you to sign up for the latter day if you want to join both.
Will the Competitions/MTG tournament be streamed?
We’re looking into a possible streaming solution right now, but we haven’t decided anything yet.
I want to walk the catwalk with my friends, can I sign up for all of us or do we have to sign up individually?
Yes you can sign up your entire group for the Cosplay Catwalk, just make sure to include everyone’s names and characters in the apropriate fields.

Can I still apply for Artstands?
Applications are closed but we do have a waitlist. To be added, send an email to info@magicon.no
Will there be more streams on Twitch?
Yes! We will be streaming every other Sunday until Magicon Elevation. Keep up with our social media channels to be notified when the next stream is!
