Tickets and Practical Info
What type of tickets are there and how much do they cost?
Weekend Pass: 749 NOK
One Day Ticket: 494 NOK

Can you buy tickets at the door?
Yes, if tickets don’t sell out before the event, you can buy them at the door.
Can I bring my baby with me to the con? Do they need a ticket?
Yes. People of all ages are welcome at Magicon, so you’re welcome to bring your baby.
If your child is small enough to sit on your lap and does not take up a seat, they can attend for free.
Is there an age limit?
There’s no age limit, but children under 14 (0-13) needs to be accompanied guardian (18+) during the entire event.
How easy is it to get food and beverages at the convention?
Food is available for purchase at the venue.
There are also 15+ restaurants and cafés within a 10-minute walk from the convention, offering a variety of food types and price ranges.
There are also grocery stores nearby, with the closest one just a 4-minute walk away – and it’s open on Sundays too!

Is there a place to leave my bag or coat during the con?
There are currently one wardrobe where you can leave your belongings. Please note that these wardrobes are unattended, so you leave items there at your own risk.
Cosplay, Competitions and Events
Are there any rules for the length of a performance?
Yes, you can find information regarding the time limit of performances in the rule section of each competition. See the cosplay competition pages.
Are there any rules for "scary" cosplays at magicon?
We would advice to keep it pg13, but if you are unsure you could always send a picture of what you want to make/buy to [email protected]
Can I join more than one Cosplay Competition?
Yes you may, however keep in mind that some competitions may happen at the same time in different areas at the convention on the same day. Check out each competitions’ individual page to read more about which day they’ll be hosted on. Schedule will be available at a later time.
I want to walk the catwalk with my friends, can I sign up for all of us or do we have to sign up individually?
Yes you can sign up your entire group for the Cosplay Catwalk, just make sure to include everyone’s names and characters in the appropriate fields.
Accessibility
Elevator information:
Elevators are available in the main foyer.
Larger electric wheelchairs can use the elevator near the ticket office in the entrance hall. The door width of this elevator is 80 cm, and the elevator depth is: 100 cm.
To use the elevator in Klubb, please contact the crew member stationed at the Klubb entrance. They will happily help you get access to the Klubb elevator.
Seating for wheelchairs:
Wheelchair spaces are available in rows 20 and 21.
Row 21 is suitable for larger electric wheelchairs and has a slanted floor. It is recommended to use your wheelchair break in this area.
HC Parking:
Drop-off and parking is available in the parking area beneath Oslo Konserthus at Munkedamsveien 14.
Be aware that you have to pay a parking fee for all parking spots, including HC parking.
Accessible Toilets:
There are two HC toilets available at OKH. The first is located next to Lillesal in the main foyer, inside the crew area. Talk to the Magicon crew who are stationed in the hallway next to Lillesal and they will help you with access to the HC toilet.
The second HC toilet is located in Klubb (Røverstaden)
Please use toilets for sanitary purposes or medical needs only. They are not intended for changing into costumes or applying makeup. Because we have a limited amount of toilets it is important to not create unnecessary lines and stress for people needing to use the facilities as intended.
Assistance:
You will need assistance to gain access to some of the elevators and toilets as they are Crew Only areas.
To access the elevator in Klubb, please contact the crew member by the Klubb entrance. They’ll be happy to assist!
For the toilet by Lillesalen, a crew member will always be nearby to let you in.

Accompanying Persons and Service Dogs:
Accompanying person (ledsager)
If you require an accompanying person with you at Magicon your companion can enter Magicon for free, but only if you have a valid companion certificate (ledsagerbevis). When you arrive at Magicon you must show the certificate to the security crew at the main entrance. They will make sure your accompanying person gains entry to Magicon.
Service Dogs
Service dogs are of course welcome by law. Other emotional support animals are unfortunately not allowed inside the convention.

If you lost something at Oslo Konserthus, they will be storing everything “Lost & Found” at the venue.7
