We will be hosting a big master cosplay competition at Magicon Elevation! This is a solo competition for the more experienced cosplayers who wish to challenge their cosplay skills on a higher level.
The competition will consist of two parts: prejudging and performance on the main stage. The contestants are expected to have made their costumes themselves, and each contestant will have 7 minutes of prejudging where the judges will be able to get a closer look at the contestants’ craftsmanship. Later, they will have 3 minutes to perform on stage. You are allowed one helper on stage.

The stage performance will be judged on the following criteria:
In this competition these criteria are weighted as follows:
The judges decision is final and there will not be any room for discussion. There will be no obligation for the judges to give feedback. It is expected that the contestants are behaving civilly towards each other, the judges, and the crew, no matter how the decisions turn out to be.
It is the contestants responsibility to show up on time for the prejudge and performance. If there are any unforeseen problems, get in contact with the members of the crew who are responsible for the competition.
*Likeness
The judges will only evaluate how the costume is constructed and how the competitor is using it to achieve likeness to the character it is based on. Factors such as gender, height, weight, skin colour, or similar aspects are not to be taken into consideration.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st place and 2nd place.
The total prize value is around 7 500 NOK
Come and challenge yourself, meet skilled judges, show yourself on stage, and above all have great fun!
