1. Number of pictures and participation:

• Each photographer can submit up to 5 unique pictures.

2. Costume

• The participating photographer has to keep the photo PG13.
• Bought, selfmade or commissioned cosplays are all welcome
• Official characters, original interpretations of official characters (such as steampunk versions, AUs, casual versions, historically accurate etc) and OCs and book characters are all welcome.

3. Age limit

• Cosplayer and photographer must both be at least 13 years old in order to participate in the contest.

4.Submitting the application

• The submitting photographer must have the cosplayers consent.
• For submissions featuring two or more cosplayers, all cosplayers in the photo must be credited.
• When submitting their application, adding reference photos is optional, but encouraged. This includes reference photos of official characters, but may also include other materials used as reference or inspiration or technical materials such as light setup and so on.The judging of the competition will be done by an independent judge outside Magicon. They will choose 12 finalists, where maximum 2 photos per photographer can be chosen

5. Judging

The judging of the competition will be done by an independent judge outside Magicon. They will choose 12 finalists, where maximum 2 photos per photographer can be chosen.

There will be one judges favourite winner and one winner chosen by popular vote.

The popular vote will be between the 12 finalists.

The winner of the popular vote will be chosen during Magicon Vanguard on Sunday June 21st by you the convention goers!
All photos submitted will be displayed at Magicon. In case of the model or photographer being in violation of Magicons Code of Conduct, Magicon reserves the right to not display submitted photos

Applications will open on March 22nd.
