Here are this year’s AMAZING and TALENTED competition judges at Magicon Vanguard!
Craftsmanship & Duo Judge
Madsfive is a french cosplayer with more than a decade worth of experience. She is known for exceptionally detailed and faithful costume work. Madsfive is a creative powerhouse whose imagination knows no limits.
Madsfive will be a judge at the Craftsmanship and Duo Competition.
Craftsmanship & Duo Judge
Yugoro has established herself as a well-known figure in the cosplay world. She has nearly a decade worth of experience and has represented the entire Baltic region at the Cosplay Crown Championship in the US and at GICOF in Korea.
Yugoro will be a judge at the Craftsmanship and Duo Competition.
Duo Judge

Missbangen is not only an actor and a filmmaker, but a full time nerd. She has guested cons and geek events all over the world, and is looking forward to judging Magicon’s most prestigious cosplay competition. She craves passion and storytelling and can’t wait to see what Magicons competitors have to offer. competitors have to offer.
Missbangen will be a judge at the Duo Competition.
Craftsmanship & Cosplay Judge
Eivind has 20 years of experience in fashion, design, textiles and sewing. He is educated as a fashion designer and modelist, as well as having represented Norwegian fashion at the Norwegian Embassy in Tokyo. He played his first game of D&D at 7 years old, painted warhammer miniatures at 8 and made his first costume from scratch at 15.
Eivind will be a judge at the Craftsmanship and Cosplay Competition.

Cosplay Competition Judge
Rerenga is a professional cosplayer and full-time content creator from Austria, bringing 7 years of passion and experience to the craft. What started as a hobby, has become a full-fledged career for her: collaborating with brands, appearing at international events as a guest, judging competitions and producing content for businesses looking to reach a wider audience.
Rerenga will be a judge at the Cosplay Competition.
Cosplay Competition Judge
Bd.cosplay has been doing cosplay for over 10 years, and has a strong passion for the cosplay community. She has long experience with different materials and a focus on technique and details, but also has a fervor for creative solutions. She loves that cosplayers can put themselves out there, step into a character’s shoes and own the scene with dramaturgical presence.
Bd.cosplay will be a judge at the Cosplay Competition.

Performance Judge
David, also known as Blumineck – The Arrow Bard, will be making his first appearance at a Norwegian convention! Many of you may recognize him from his YouTube videos, where he explores the mechanics and practicality of fantasy weapons. As a biologist, archer, and pole dancer, David brings a unique perspective to performance and stagecraft. His extensive knowledge of historical combat allows him to demonstrate how different weapons are used while explaining their advantages and limitations in a way that is both entertaining and educational.
Blumineck will be a judge at the Performance Competition.
Performance Judge
Saharasara began competing because of the friendships she found backstage and her love for cosplay. More than a decade later, she has taken part in cosplay competitions around the world. She has a deep appreciation for performance-based cosplay and enjoys seeing stories brought to life on stage. For her, the most memorable performances are those that show both genuine passion for the source material and the creativity needed to adapt it for a live audience.
Saharasara will be a judge at the Performance Competition.

Catwalk Judge

Idachri is a Norwegian cosplayer who started their journey in 2012. Ever since then, cosplay has been a huge part of their life. With many years of theatre experience under their belt, the idea of being on a cosplay stage and dressed up as a character, and bringing that said character to life was thrilling.
Idachri will be a judge at the Catwalk Competition.
Catwalk Judge
Diwan believes that all catwalks and cosplay performances come down to two things: How you portray a certain character and how you are able to use the stage to do so. It is important to do something that leaves an impression with the limited time that is given.
Diwan will be a judge at the Catwalk Competition.

Catwalk Judge
Blair, also known as Beeloby.cos on social media, has always had a passion for games, dressing up and any stage activities. 2018 was the year she got introduced to the cosplay community, and later on started competing in many varied categories in both solo, duo and in group competitions. This will be her second year at Magicon and first time judging.
Blair/Beeloby will be a judge at the Catwalk Competition.
Cosplay Photography Judge
Steven, also known as photostegi, is an international cosplay photographer based in Germany. For over three years, he has been working internationally, collaborating with cosplayers, artists, and events across borders. He is best known for his dynamic, action-driven, and high-contrast photography, capturing movement, intensity, and strong character presence. At the same time, he is equally skilled in creating soft, bright, and atmospheric images, adapting his visual style to the character and story behind each cosplay.
Steve will be a judge at the Cosplay Photography Competition.

K-pop Judge

Tai Vo is an Oslo-based hip-hop dancer with experience working on projects involving artists such as Karpe, NCT, SHINee, BTS and &TEAM. Having lived in Osaka and spent time in Seoul, he has developed a strong connection to both dance and Asian Culture, which continues to influence his artistry and passion for performance.
Tai Vo will be a judge at the K-pop Competition.
K-pop Judge
Jon Lennart Løbak co-founded the K-pop line at Hadeland Folk High School in 2017 and has since been actively promoting K-pop in Norway through workshops, lectures and collaborations with organizations such as the Korean Embassy, Koreaforeningen and Magicon. In 2025, he helped establish a partnership with Howon University in South Korea.
Jon Lennart will be a judge at the K-pop Competition.

Idol Judge

Frida has been dancing to K-Pop and other styles with her dance group Urban Nordic Crew since 2017. Together, they have traveled across Norway and Europe to participate in events, competitions and performances. With a long-standing interest in Japanese culture and a background in J-pop dance, she is excited to see the creativity and talent this year’s contestants bring to the stage.
Frida will be a judge at the Idol Competition.
Idol Judge
Helen, also known as h3.ren, is an Oslo-based cosplayer and dancer with more than 15 years of experience in dance covers and competitions. She is currently the leader of GAJA!, helping create a welcoming space for everyone who loves K-pop and dance in and around Oslo.
Helen will be a judge at the Idol Competition.
