From Blender to Print / Crash Course in Blender

Curious about 3D modelling and printing, but not quite sure where to start?

Even though 3D printers have become more accessible in schools, libraries and other free workshops, the software itself can seem pretty intimidating when you start out.

Sinty is here to help you with that! In this panel she will demonstrate how you can use the free software Blender to get you started with this amazing craft. She will be focusing solely on the functions that you need to learn to model for 3D printing, including tips, tricks and a live modelling session. With this panel, Sinty hopes to give you the confidence you need to start learning how to use Blender!

Sinty has been in the 3D game since 2014 and started out by making animations, which she uploaded to YouTube under the name Sinty Animation.

Since then she has developed her 3D modelling skills through both animation and doing VRChat commissions. Since last year she has also ventured into the realm of 3D printing. The feeling of creating something in the digital space and then being able to hold it in your hands afterwards is a feeling that is hard to describe. Sinty hopes to be able to inspire the guests at Magicon to take the leap and start their own 3D printing journey!
