Ready to step into the spotlight and rule the catwalk?
There are two separate catwalks that you can join by yourself or as a group. You need to sign up to participate in either one of them and the spots fill up very fast! Both cosplays, OC (original character) costumes and fashion looks are welcome to join in on the fun!
So what is the difference between the two catwalks, you may ask? Read on to learn more about them.
The Cosplay Catwalk
The catwalk on Saturday is all about creativity and fun! In this catwalk you get to go up on stage and show off your costume or fashion look to the audience, but there will be no judges or prizes. Get ready for your moment in the spotlight and have fun with it!
Rules and Criteria
When:
The Alternative Fashion & Cosplay Catwalk will be held on Saturday. You will get information on when and where to meet up when you sign up at the Info-stand.
How to sign up:
You sign up for the catwalk at the Info-stand when you enter the convention on Saturday. There are 30 spots in the catwalk – be sure to get there early, the spots tend to fill up very fast.
How the catwalk works:
You have 30 seconds on stage to show off your costume or fashion look. If you are a group, you still only have 30 seconds. Remember to use the whole stage well, the audience wants to see you! Music for the catwalk will be provided by the con and we can unfortunately not put on different music for different people. All performances must be PG-13!
Participation:
Whether you’re flying solo or teaming up with friends, the Cosplay Catwalk is open to groups of 1 to 6 participants.

The Cosplay Catwalk Competition is now full. There is unfortunatly no waitinglist.
The Alternative Fashion & Cosplay Catwalk Competition is for those of you who not only want to shine on stage – but also compete at the same time! Get ready to showcase your skills, show off your character or fashion look on stage and at the same time get the chance to impress our amazing judges. The sign-up for the competition will be online on our website on the 1st of June.
Note that the catwalk competition has two categories – fashion and cosplay. They are judged separately and have individual prizes. There are also two separate forms for signing up in the different categories, so make sure that you choose the right one.
Participants must provide these details in the sign-up form:
Your name/names
Character name and source
Rules and Criteria
When:
The Catwalk Competition will be held on Sunday. You will get information on when and where to meet up after you sign up, and have been given a spot in the competition.
How to sign up:
You can sign up on our website on the 1st of June. The spots fill up fast, so make sure you are ready to sign up when we open for signups.
- 30 spots for cosplay and original characters
- 15 spots for style and fashion looks such as Lolita, J- or K-fashion, and other types of alternative styles
The categories have separate sign-up forms. Make sure that you use the right form when you sign up.

Judges and prizes:
The Catwalk Competition has judges. A winner and a runner up will be chosen and receive prizes in the two separate categories (alternative fashion and cosplay). Keep in mind that the prizes are designed for a single participant, so if you win with a group, you have to share the prize.
Judging Criteria:
The judges will evaluate the participants based on the following criteria:
- Stage presence
- Connection with the audience
- How you use the space on the stage
- Ability to show off your character/fashion look
Make every second on the stage count – but don’t forget to enjoy the moment!
